Introduction to the DCA

The Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) strategy is a systematic investment approach that reduces the impact of market volatility by spreading out purchases over time. Instead of making a single large investment, an investor allocates a fixed amount of capital at regular intervals to acquire assets, regardless of price fluctuations. It is an effective way to build a crypto portfolio with reduced exposure to market volatility. It is especially useful for investors who prefer a structured and disciplined approach to investing in digital assets. With Davensi, implementing a DCA strategy is seamless, automated, and optimized for long-term growth.

To get started, click on the "DCA Strategy" tab in the menu, then on the "Create DCA" button on the right of the page. You will see this page open.👇

To simplify the selection, we have pre-configured different baskets grouped by theme. By using one of these suggestions, you will be able invest in a specific thematic. You can also decide to create your own selection of crypto-assets by clicking on "Configure DCA".

You can now see this interface for a DCA strategy including both BTC and ETH.

• Coins : This is where you add the crypto-assets you wish to buy with this strategy.

• DCA Balance : Before starting your DCA, you must deposit some USDCs. Follow the prompted process.

• Investment Amount Per Frequency : Specify the amount you wish to invest each time the DCA is executed. Please keep in mind that it must be at least $10 per coin selected (i.e. BTC and ETH both require a minimum of $10 per transaction so here we must input $20).

• Frequency : Decide the frequency you want the DCA strategy to be executed. It can be daily, every other day, every week, etc.

• Performance Objective : A performance objective in percentage can be assigned to your DCA strategy. Once reached, two options are available to you (explained in "Alerts").

• Alerts : Once the the performance objective is reached, you will receive a notification by email. You can decide to automatically sell the assets purchased over the course of your DCA, or to keep it as is.

The minimum transaction amount is $10, and you can only buy using USDC. To deposit capital in your Exchange account, click on the "Deposit/Transfer" button. Use the pop up window to transfer capital into your DCA Strategy account.
